Tool Jig and Die Maker

About the position

A dynamic manufacturer based in Springs is looking to employ a qualitied Toolmaker with 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar environment.
Minimum Requirements

• Qualified Tool Jig and Die maker
• Experience in Plastic injection and Blow moulds
• Candidate must be self-motivated, honest, trust worthy and a team player
• 3 – 5 years’ experience
• Understand machining principles
• Must continuously strive to find better ways to do things and improve
• Must be able to take pride and ownership of the work that you do
• Must be open to new Ideas and learning from others
• Communicate openly, regularly and honestly
• Must be willing to share the load and assist team when needed
• Strong CNC Milling along with Turning (advantageous)
• Mastercam Programming and Solidworks (advantageous)
• Must be able to work conventional machines Milling, Turning, surface grinding (Internal & external grinding an advantage)
• Tool and cutter grinding
• Must be able to work to close tolerances and follow drawings strictly
• Measuring equipment
• Assembly principles essential
